Dr. Ishey Namgyal belongs to village Matho. He was born in 1951. He qualified Matriculation (10th class exams). He studied Amchi education from Dr. Tsundus Gyatso, former physician of HH Dalai Lama. He studied pharmacist in medical line and offered 28 years of service in the India P/Force.
He also did social service 1984 Measles covered in Zanskar area villages. He did whopping crush at Changthang that was appreciated by HH Dalai Lama with certificate.
Dr. Ishey Namgyal has also contributes social offers and medicines to the Amchi society of the Lingshed area villages. The medicines are beneficial and useful to patients of this area.
Since the year 2007, he has been organizing the accommodation facilities for Mrs. Kathi Roth in his residence at Choglamsar during her visit to Ladakh, where the Amchis also organize the seminars and discussions with Kathi Roth. For a long time, she has been voluntarily supporting the Lingshed Amchi Society to promote and develop the Traditional Amchi System. She is also sponsoring all the Amchis to meet their families' basic needs and they can work for the Amchi System.
